I had the Whoop for 18 months and purchased the Fenix 7X SS a few months ago. The Whoop taught me all I needed from it in less than 6 months TBH. I am training for a 1/2 marathon now and the Garmin is so much better than the Whoop could ever be for that. Whoop has its purposes, but I needed more out of my device then what it provided for the price.

Garmin's sleep and body battery levels are weak when compared to Whoop. Whoop is just on a whole other level around rest, recovery and stress. The 945 is a great all rounder though. GPS for tracking, SpO2 for health and altitude impacts, Spotify music. I even use Garmin Pay at gas stations on long rides.
