Use the barb that fits the hole you drill .It Doesnt have to be threaded if not you can press or tap it in using a little JB weld .Any rubber hose or tubing that fits will work fine.It is not high pressure.

2000 883 VOES question. I got a 2000 883 hugger and i broke the VOES switch, im trying to get a new one and now im finding ones that say 6in and 5in or 4in. You need to plug the vacuum fitting on the top of the carb that goes to the petcock is all. The VOES will be inop then. Maybe just run the carb vac. hose to the VOES and plug the other end. OR just run a new hose from the carb to the VOES. Swapped out the Harley Carb for an S&amp;S Super E.
