Took a taxi to Playa Palancar. ($25 each way). Waited until the dive boats went out and there were enough people for snorkeling. Boat took us to the reef and then drifted with us, so you didn't have to fight the current back. First El Cielo reef: huge starfish, a ray. very little coral. But then we went to Columbia reef: wow!
