Oct 29, 2022 · EITMS activation frequency - 2020 Road King Special. I see this subject has been done to death but i'll give it another one. Have a 2020 Road King Special and the EITMS never used to cut in and then was in a remote area and had to put 91 octane in it for a couple of tanks, coincidence or not that's when i noticed it.

This is a system where once the engine reaches a pre-determined temp the EITMS will turn off the rear jug fuel injector so the engine will act as an air pump and there by cool down.EITMS can be enabled or disabled by the rider using the following procedure. 1.
