Typical of French Colonial architecture, the living quarters are raised above ground level. 3 visits to New Orleans and 50+ restaurants later, this is the worst restaurant I've been to in this city. After waiting in the scorching June sun for 30 minutes (there is no waiting area with shade), our group of 7 finally sat. It took 40 minutes for the waiter to serve us water. We asked twice for the water, as we had come in from the heat. Creole House being right next to our hotel, we saw a line outside every night. That peaked our interest and we decided to try it out. There was about a 25 minute wait and once we got to the front of the line we were seated right away.
