1 cm dilated 37 weeks how much longer

My doc doesn't seem worried about it but I am haha. I'm 1cm dilated with contractions every 8 min that last 30-40 seconds. I was put on bed rest and a medication to stop the contractions. I'm 30 weeks. I had my cervix checked at 30 and I'm having a ultrasound at 32 to check everything like how long my cervix is.
